How To Roleplay in Clubs

Roleplaying(RP) is very well known on stardoll. I would say 50% or more of clubs on stardoll include roleplaying. 

Definition: the acting out or performance of a particular role with the perceived expectations of society using a fictional person's behavior in a particular context.

Step 1-Creating your character: Fill out a forum with fictional details about your character.

Step 2-Joining: Create or join a RP topic

(Reminder: Roleplaying is going with the flow. If a topic has 100 posts, you aren't forced to read all of them. Just maybe the last 5 small posts or less.)

(Reminder: Correct Roleplaying is always present tense. >>Walks<< or Walked)

Step 3-Creating your post: There are usually two ways to roleplay. I suggest reading other peoples' post and see how that club roleplays.

Option #1 Example: 

Annie:

I shuffle through the door avoiding eye contact.

Option #2 Example:

Annie Shuffles through the door avoiding eye contact.

Step 3- Be Detailed: Nothing is worse than a person who roleplays vaguely. Don't be afraid to play it up! What does your character's laugh sound like? How does he push his hair back? How does she look at him with those beaming eyes? it's a story with other people!! But then again, don't go a paragraph long about your character's smile(lol).

After you know the basics of roleplaying, have fun!! Be the one to create that exciting drama!
